Vintage Red
The perfect little red vintage dress has a not-so-perfect smell!?
I have a beautiful red cocktail dress that I picked up at a vintage store. I have tried several times through either dry cleaning at a store or with an at-home kit to remove the smell, but no luck. Any ideas? Two layers to it; the liner is taffeta, and the top is either a georgette or poly blend. No component tag to tell me what it’s made of. Thanks!
Try mixing vinegar and water and spraying the dress, leave it hanging to let the vinegar smell go away and it will smell fresh.
