how old was your baby(ies) when you switched them from a crib to a toddler bed?
We just switched our 15 month old from his portacrib to a toddler bed my Dad made. He kept shaking the crib, (he’s very strong and very big, about 26 lbs) and we thought he was going to tip it over. it also took up less room when folded up than the toddler bed did when it was in pieces. So tonight we made the switch. Still, It makes me sad. I want him to stay my baby baby. How old were your kids when they switched over?
My oldest was a little over 18 months. It was rough at first because even with the side railings that are near the head, she always managed to fall out near the opening part near the feet. We had to keep putting out couch cushions there, then when we’d get up in the morning we’d find her sleeping on the them lol.
I know how you feel with watching your babies grow. She’s now four and doesn’t like to be cuddled *tear* ^_^.
