Are Multi Tools Good For Camping or Fishing?
I am a novice to outdoors and i want to get started (Unfortunatly i decided to when summer is near end)! I want to buy a Leatherman Wave multi tool and i was wondering if they are good for Camping or Fishing use? Please also recommend me any multi tools similiar to the Wave and maybe tell me if you had any experience with the tools and maybe post how well the quality it is and how well it perform.
Hmmm… I cant seem to find the Leatherman XTI! I went to their website the closest thing i came to the name was the Leatherman TTI.
In the past ten years, I’ve only used Leatherman products. I started with the original multi-tool, then purchased a ‘Pulse’ which had a more comfortable hand-grip, and lastly I purchased and still use the Charge XTi. I swear by them. In my opinion, you’re not going to find a multi-tool out there that is more rugged and useful.
I use my XTi at work, hunting, camping, fishing, and at home. I would honestly be lost without it.
For general usage, the Wave would be OK, but if you wanted an added usefulness while fishing, go with the Pulse, simply because it has a hook-sharpener included on the metal file.
