Crappie Panfish
What is the best chum to use for panfish?(perch, bluegill, crappie, etc.)?
need somethin to attract some more fish. Anyone got any tips?
You can chum Bluegills and Perch to an area but Crappie are rarely attracted to chum.
Large, floating, bread dough-balls or a mixture of bread crumbs & crushed-up corn cereal mixed with mud should attract Bluegill.
Try throwing pieces of bread in the water to see the reaction of the ‘Gil’s. Start out slow and get them into a “feeding frenzy”. Then start using a bobber rig with a small dough-ball as bait.
