Black Powder Rifle/ What grain of powder is best to use with a 250 grain bullet in a TC ProHunter 50 Cal?
Would you suggest 100 or 150 grain, or other & why?
I personally choose to use 100 gr- 2 50 gr Triple 7 pellets. We have used 150 gr and it really doesn’t give you any extra advantage on white tails. If you were going to hunt elk or moose or bear, go to 150, but anything smaller, you are wasting money…in my opinion.
