Is a 1993 Ford Probe GT 2-door hatchback a good first car?
I’ve found a used one online for $1,350. Acoording to the seller it is a “MUST SEE 1993 ford probe runs/looks excelnt 4clinder gas saver all power ice cold ac very depadable clean title auto alloy wheels ONLY 108K.” I know nothing when it comes to buying cars, so advice is much appreciated!
They were good cars at one point, but the miles are too high. Cars become a problem over 100K…had no problems with my last one (1998 Chevy Cavalier) til it hit 130,000 then everything went to crap. This guy is also asking way too much for a 14 year old car. It is a cute car, coming from a girl’s perspective…but that’s not everything. Look around some more. And PS if you’re looking for a good first car, I’d reccomend a Cavalier if you can find one with relatively low miles (I got mine when it had around 60K on it)…it ran great! Good luck
